We are aware of the fact that J.R.R. Tolkien disliked allegories and that he stated there were no likenesses between his "One Ring" and Wagner’s “The Ring of the Nibelung” – apart from both of them being round. However, deep research into the human consciousness has revealed that Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” is even more wonderful and profound than Tolkien himself was probably aware of.

We love Tolkien’s works – and it has been no less than a revelation to discover a deep pattern of actual events and symbolic coherences – which connect the Wagner Ring with the Tolkien Ring, way back in time.

Moreover: through comparison, these two works reveal the depth of understanding that an author and a composer can reach, when guided by inspiration.
